Species account
No photo of live animal A small (c.1.5-2mm) micropterous (tiny winged) barkfly. Rare in England out-of-doors. Widespread in domestic situations.
No photo of features currently available The species has a similar overall appearance to Lepinotus patruelis. Also like that species there is a dark line between the eye and base of the antenna but in addition there is a reddish-brown stripe down the middle of the head.
