No photo of live animal A moderately large (c.4-5mm) barkfly with mainly colourless wings. Only recorded from Irealnd.
Atlantopsocus personatus Atlantopsocus species have an exceptionally shallow pterostigma cell and typically have colourless wings (except for the dark pterostigma cell).
Atlantopsocus personatus Female
The side lobes of the subgenital plate are narrow (cf. A. adustus).
Atlantopsocus personatus Male
Hypandrium (end of abdomen) with the two rows of black teeth more or less in straight lines (cf. A. adustus).
