Stenopsocus immaculatus A moderately large (5-6mm) barkfly often with green abdomen. One of the commonest species in Britain and Ireland.
Wing of Stenopsocus immaculatus Areola postica joined to median vein. Forewing without distinct markings.
Setae on wing of Stenopsocus immaculatus Vein Cu2 setose i.e. with short hairs (setae) along vein. (In contrast to S. stigmaticus that does not have setae).
