Summary: associated with tree bark. Recent records have been from ancient wood pastures.

Associations:

  • Deciduous branches: dead lower branches of veteran open-grown oak.
  • Tree trunks: lichen-covered conifer bark.

Sampling techniques: beating branches, brushing tree trunks and hand searching.
