Summary: has been found on branches of deciduous and coniferous/evergreen trees/bushes (no records from trunks).

Associations:

  • Deciduous branches: beech, bird cherry, elder, hawthorn, lime, oak and sycamore.
  • Conifer/evergreen branches: broom, ivy, larch, laurel, pine, sitka spruce and yew.

Sampling techniques: beating branches.
